State-of-the-art environmental solutions assure an important reduction of water and energy consumption, and comply with the emission standards even at the most rigorous markets.

Regarding its industrial activity, the MK sites work in closed cycle (zero emission). Such condition allows environmental self-monitoring. MK also takes part of “Responsible Care” program of ABIQUIM (Brazilian Association of Chemical Industry).

Another example of good relationship with environment: Its headquarters is surrounded by natural environment. All buildings are inside nature. There is natural forest spread over the 22 hectares of headquarters, living together in perfect synergy with administrative and industrial activities.
